The strong have an obligation. Not to themselves — to the weak.

In this episode, Pastor Randy Johnson moves into Romans 15, where Paul brings the long discussion of strong and weak faith to its practical conclusion. If you have learned to walk in the Spirit, to hear God's voice, to live in the freedom of Christ — that strength was never meant to be hoarded. It was meant to be spent on behalf of those who aren't there yet.

Christ himself is the model. He did not please himself. The reproaches meant for God fell on him instead — and as believers who carry Christ into the world, those same reproaches now fall on us.

Randy also unpacks what Paul means when he says the Scriptures give us endurance and encouragement. The stories of faith preserved in God's Word are not ancient history — they are living proof that God provides, sustains, and keeps his people through every difficulty. That's the foundation of hope.

The episode closes on the vision Paul has for the whole body of Christ — Jews and Gentiles, strong and weak, every background and heritage — together, with one voice, glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
