このコンテンツについて

This episode looks at the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and the important role that general practitioners (GPs) have in educating and encouraging patients through the program. Evidence has shown that a GPs recommendation is one of the strongest motivators for patients to participate in screening programs. In this episode, we follow Barry into his GPs consultation room to discuss the iFOBT kit. This episode is part of a greater education package called Cancer Screening Education for General Practitioners. This fully funded online education is a one-stop shop of resources, tools, and up-to-date information to support Australian GPs in their critical role of encouraging participation in these life saving programs. The online course is an ACRRM and RACGP accredited activity for the 2020-2022 Triennium. To register, go to: https://bit.ly/2DMyLHa.
