    In this episode we start to look in to second skandam, here Shuka mahamuni takes Prakshit maharaj through the process of preparing himself to listen to Bhagavatham, like all educations need certain preset credentials to go ahead and attain the knowledge, Shuka mahamuni explains the natures of mind body and soul and explains how to cleanse these to attain purity to take in the bliss of paramathman

    In the later half we see some of the questions raised by Parikshit Maharaj to Shuka mahamuni about the material existence of the Supreme Being and explains how and what his body is made off.

    In this episode we come to the end of the prathama skandam of bhagavatham, here we discuss about how Maharaja Parikshit gets into a situation that makes him loose his mindfulness and does something that is against his nature and intellect, the result is a young bramhin boy Shrungi, gets enraged about what the great king has done and curses him to death by bite of a serpent in seven days for the same, which gets rejected by his father, sage Shamaika. And the following are the incidences about doing what and how Maharaja Parikshit spends these seven days in cleansing his sins and to attain moksha,

    Later half we learn about the great sage Shuka, who narrates this divine bhagavatham to Maharaja Parikshat.

  • Episode 18 The Tale of Kali, Parikshith Maharaj and The holy tale of Naladamyanthi

    In this episode we see the beginning of Kali (personified form of Kaliyuga) and how Parikshith maharaj defeats him and commands him to stay in such places where he can influence people, and then we also see the narration of how even Parikshith Mahraj gets into the ill effects of Kali and get the curse of the holy Bhramins that leads to his untimely death and also observe how Parkshith maharaj after being cursed gets divine realization and goes in submission to Sukha maharshi and spends his last days in attaining moksha.

    In the later half we revisit the story of the holy tale of Naladamayanti, as we saw the mention of the same in the narations of ill effects of Kali, we dive into the soul filed story and also take away the message that just the listening or narration of this divine tale takes away our sins of Kaliyuga.
