  • The Cool Down Episode | 4 | Bulls Edge Promotion Six-Pointer, Jets Keep Title Pressure On & RFC Women Deliver Statement Shutout
    2026/02/25

Episode four of The Cool Down dives into a massive weekend across Jersey sport, with Sports Reporters Archie Corbett and Elliot Corbel unpacking the biggest talking points.

At Springfield, Jersey Bulls delivered a huge 1-0 win over third-placed Faversham Town to keep their play-off hopes alive. With the Bulls now level on points with Whyteleafe and Sittingbourne, albeit having played more games, the panel break down a disciplined second-half display, Rai Dos Santos’ decisive finish, and the impact of James Sunley off the bench that ultimately separated the sides. Is momentum building at exactly the right time?

Over at Oakfield, the Evelyn Partners Jets produced one of their most emphatic performances of the campaign, dismantling Leeds Athletic 76-39 to secure another crucial bonus point. With Ryland and Exeter also picking up wins, the Jets remain two points off top spot in Premier League 3, but back-to-back dominant displays suggest they are timing their run perfectly.

On the rugby pitch, Jersey RFC Women recorded a commanding 22-0 victory over Medway Women at CoinShares Park to stay firmly in the title conversation, now sitting six points off first and three off second.

  • The Warm Up | 3 | Crunch Time for the Bulls, Unbeaten Jersey RFC and Hockey History on the Line
    2026/02/13

The latest episode of The Warm Up, with sports reporters Elliot Corbel and Archie Corbett, looks ahead to another hugely important weekend of sport, with play-off pressure, trophy action and testing away trips all firmly on the agenda.

The pair begin with a deep dive into Jersey Bulls’ trip to AFC Whyteleafe, a fixture loaded with narrative as the two sides sit separated by just a single point inside the Isthmian South East Division play-off places. With memories of last season’s title race still fresh and the Bulls narrowly winning the reverse fixture back in October, it’s a monumental game in Jersey’s debut run-in at this level made all the tougher by Whyteleafe’s formidable home record.

Attention then turns to a packed local football programme, with Premiership 1 and 2 fixtures spread across the Island and silverware on the line. There’s also Championship football to look forward to, while the Cherry Godfrey Women’s Division returns on Sunday morning with Rozel Rovers hosting Jersey Wanderers.

Rugby also features heavily, with Jersey RFC travelling away as they look to maintain their 100% record against CS Stags 1863, having edged a tight contest earlier in the season. There’s discussion too on Royals RFC, who face a tough home test against fourth-placed Ditchling as they continue a challenging campaign.

The episode rounds off with hockey, where it’s a big weekend on home turf at Les Quennevais. Jersey Men’s 1s are just one win away from a rare place in the England Hockey Tier 2 Trophy semi-finals as they take on Woking, while the Ladies’ 1s also have national knockout action to look forward to against Guildford 3s.

Tune in for Tuesday’s episode of The Cool Down, where Elliot and Archie will look back on the results, talking points and moments that mattered most.
