  • 2025: A Year in Summary
    2025/12/14

In this episode, we discuss some of the biggest news throughout the year. From the Oval Office embarrassment of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to war in Sudan, and the Louvre heist. We discuss how Artificial Intelligence is constantly shaping our world, and what will a world with Netflix acquiring Warner Bros. look like?

This has been a year filled with ups and downs, some inspiring stories, as well as some defeating ones. A year where resilience became a n necessity in the face of more mass layoffs from companies who were constantly turning profit. We've seen gold and Bitcoin hit all time highs, and PlayStation announcing the arrival of the original Xbox original, Halo, to the platform in 2026.

As we mourn the deceased, we celebrate our victories. 2026 is upon us, and as the saying goes: We go again.

  • Google Pixel, say hello to AirDrop & Shoutout to making art with humans.
    2025/11/30

Google say they've finally cracked their AirDrop headache. Seems a lot of their users have been clamoring for a way to share outside of Google and into the Apple walled garden. Their prayers may have been finally answered.

PayStack is finally let go of their controversial co-founder and CTO, Ezra Olubi, after a series of old tweets resurfaced alongside recent allegations from an aggrieved ex. This won't be the last we hear of this, as Ezra has shared that his legal team will be looking into the termination.

Apple in their annual holiday tradition have dropped a new ad promoting indie creation with filmmakers and puppeteers making a film with the iPhone 17 Pro. This ad is a stark departure away from what other large tech companies are doing with doubling down on AI replacing artists, or even Coca Cola's recent attempt at AI mega slop.

Abductions of children in Nigeria seems to have stuck around after all these years. This has plagued the country and it has recently gotten some deserved global attention. We question what happens to the kidnappers after the children are rescued, and if there's enough government effort in bringing this to an end.

Donald Trump in the news again this week like he always is, had decided to halt immigration from some third world countries. This came after the shooting of National Guard members, and an Afghan national was named suspect.

Google's AI chips seem to be the talk of the town, and Meta and OpenAI want some of that action. How is NVIDIA reacting to this, in a world where they've been the poster boys for more AI, more compute?

On theme with Google, their recent announcements of Gemini 3 and Nano Banana Pro have been turning heads, and rightfully so. They just need to figure out how to market their products as well as the competition to stay top of mind.

  • Steam Announcement, Tesla CarPlay & Trump vs. The BBC
    2025/11/16

Valve recently announced three new products to add to their family of Steam hardware. The reception has been mostly good, but with a release date of ‘early 2026’ and no price tag yet, will this slate of new devices live up to all the hype it’s been getting?

Tesla and CarPlay have been like oil and water since forever. Now that rumors are circling that the car company has been internally testing a way to incorporate Apple’s smartphone integration system in their cars, what does this say about Tesla and also CarPlay? Especially now that GM is looking to veer away from it.

The BBC have been caught in Donald Trump’s crosshairs after they aired a documentary seemingly manipulating his speech and taking it out of context. The British Broadcaster has since apologized but it looks like a lawsuit or some settlement is looming.

Nigeria continue their quest to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Gabon are the most recent challengers on their path and they seem to have been brushed off easily. But at what cost? If they are to make it to the promised land, they will need to take destiny into their own hands.

The entire Affinity suite of software has gone free. For good. This former Serif, now Canva owned product is raising concerns in the creative community. Can something so shiny, so beautiful, and as powerful and the Affinity suite actually go free without repercussions down the road?
