  • Episode 11: Night of Champions
    2026/06/30

Riyadh has been and gone, and we've got a lot to say.

In this episode, we break down WWE Night of Champions 2026 in full, fresh from the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, from the tournament finals to the title matches, and the moment that nobody thought would happen.

    We dive into:

Sami Zayn defeats Cody Rhodes and Gunther to win the Undisputed WWE Championship: Ten years in the making. The Miracle in Saudi Arabia. We don't want to say too much here, just listen. Because this one is deserved.

Oba Femi wins the King of the Ring, defeating Jey Uso: The Ruler is your King, and his path to SummerSlam is open. Femi looked every inch a top-tier star, and Jey gave him a good run. Where does this go next?

IYO SKY wins the Queen of the Ring, defeating Liv Morgan: IYO wins the tournament and wastes zero time calling her shot for SummerSlam. Danhausen's curse doing its thing once again.

Seth Rollins defeats Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match: Emotional, brutal, and exactly what this feud needed as a finale. Rollins finds a way, as he always does. What's next for The Visionary?

Trick Williams retains the US Championship vs. Ricky Saints: Trick holds on and keeps rolling. How long before he moves up the card entirely?

Tiffany Stratton retains the Women's US Championship vs. Jade Cargill: B-Fab and Michin get involved, because of course they do. Cargill can't buy a win right now, is that a problem, or is it building to something?

A show headlined by one of the most genuinely surprising title changes in recent memory, surrounded by a card that largely delivered. As always, this is our honest post-show reaction. Part breakdown, part banter, and the usual Back-Seat pint to wash it all down.

  • Episode 10: Clash in Italy
    2026/06/03

Turin has been and gone and we've got plenty to say. In this episode, we break down WWE Clash in Italy in full, fresh from the Inalpi Arena. WWE's first ever premium live event on Italian soil, from the in-ring storytelling to the booking decisions that had us talking long after the final bell.

    We dive into:

Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu - Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship: The Tribal Chief is now 3-0 in Tribal Combat matches, but this one was far from straightforward. Reigns continues to be on fire in 2026, and Fatu pushed him every step of the way. Where does this story go now?

Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Championship: The American Nightmare retains, but the finish landed with a thud for a lot of people, us included. Gunther continues to feel like a main event player waiting for the right moment. When does that moment come?

Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill for the Women's Championship: A WrestleMania rematch that had plenty to live up to. Mami retains, but Cargill's trajectory is fascinating right now. A huge improvement on previous matches, what is next for Jade?

Sol Ruca vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship: The one title change on the night, and arguably the moment of the evening. A crowning moment for someone with an enormous ceiling, and a big tip of the hat to Lynch for making it happen the way she did.

Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi: The Beast survives, the trilogy is inevitable, and the Turin crowd absolutely serenaded Lesnar in a way nobody expected. The booking will divide opinion, but the match itself delivered.

A show with very good to great wrestling up and down the card, even if some of the decisions upstairs will have people frustrated. As always, this is our honest post-show reaction, part breakdown, part banter, and the usual Back-Seat pint to wash it all down.

Was this the best European show WWE has done in recent memory? We've got thoughts. Come find out why.

  • Episode 9: Saturday Night's Main Event
    2026/05/26

Fort Wayne has been and gone and we've got plenty to say. In this episode, we break down WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLIV in full, fresh from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, from the title matches to the moments that are quietly starting to shape the summer.

    We dive into:

The Vision vs. The Street Profits: Logan Paul and Austin Theory retain in typically dubious fashion, but it's what happened after the bell that had everyone talking, with Bron Breakker making his presence very loudly felt.

Penta vs. Ethan Page: An absolute thriller for the Intercontinental Title. Page pulled out every dirty trick in the book and nearly got away with it. This one deserves more attention than it'll get.

Sol Ruca vs. Becky Lynch: The newcomer picks up a DQ win over the Women's Intercontinental Champion. Is this the start of something, or just a foot in the door?

Jade Cargill's squad vs. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss: Three massive personalities on one team, and they still couldn't get it together. Cargill looked like a star. Again.

Paige and Brie Bella vs. The Irresistible Forces: Better than it had any right to be, and arguably their best outing as champions so far.

A show that quietly overdelivered for a Fort Wayne crowd that clearly came ready. No title changes, but plenty of direction. As always, this is our honest post-show reaction, part breakdown, part banter, and the usual Back-Seat pint to wash it all down.

Was SNME the most quietly satisfying show of the year so far? We think it might be. Come find out why.

  • Episode 8: Backlash
    2026/05/11

Tampa has been and gone and we've got plenty to say.

In this episode, we break down WWE Backlash 2026 in full, fresh from the Benchmark International Arena, from the in-ring storytelling to the booking decisions that are starting to shape the rest of the year.

    We dive into:

    • Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu: A gruelling title match that ended in controversy, and a Samoan Werewolf well and truly off the leash.
    • Bron Breakker vs Seth Rollins: Is this Breakker's moment, and where does Rollins go from here?
    • Trick Williams holding off Sami Zayn again: How long can this story go on, and when will it please end?
    • Iyo Sky vs Asuka: Enemies turned friends turned enemies turned friends, and one of the best women's matches in a while.
    • Danhausen and the chaos that came with him: Because of course we're talking about it.

A show that leaned hard into wrestling over spectacle, and was better for it. As always, this is our honest post-show reaction, part breakdown, part banter, and the usual Back-Seat pint to wash it all down.

Was this the best non-WrestleMania PLE of the year so far? We think so. Come find out why.
