In the last episode, the usual weekend volunteers were unable to come to help out at the shelter, and we learned more about Mary’s background when she and her mother showed up to help Robin and his uncle Damian straighten things out. In chapters 9 and 10, Robin finishes his weekend by spending some quality time with his uncle Damian, and Monday starts with Bruiser getting adopted a second time. Due to a misunderstanding, Tim, the man who adopted Bruiser, enters him in a flyball competition, and we get both Bruiser’s and Tim’s versions of the ensuing pandemonium.
