The Jews questioned Jesus about having seen Abraham. Jesus’ response was "I tell you the truth," before Abraham was born, I am!" The point here is not to debate whether Jesus is speaking or the spirit of God speaking through him, as in Matthew 10:20 (for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you). The point is to showthat we are part of one body. Our body has many parts — limbs, organs, and cells, but no matter how many parts we can name, we are still one body. It's the same with Christ.
