BCTV Open Studio host, and Executive Director Johnny Gifford chats with Amy Goodman, host and Executive Producer of the daily news program Democracy Now!, and Carl Deal, director of Steal This Story, Please!, a documentary featuring the decades of Amy and Democracy Now's journalism. They promote the film's screening at the Latchis Theatre on June 19th, and talk about the film's broader importance. They also discuss the intersection of community media and public access TV stations like BCTV with Democracy Now!, the film and how it is being produced and distributed.
