The towering mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, are known not only for their breathtaking natural beauty but also for producing artists of extraordinary talent. One such artist is Sajid Ameeri, who has carved out a unique identity by transforming ordinary wire mesh—commonly used in household windows—into his artistic medium. As Pakistan's only wire mesh artist, he is creating remarkable works in a medium that has traditionally never been regarded as part of painting or sculpture. - گلگت بلتستان (پاکستان) کے بلند و بالا پہاڑ صرف قدرتی حسن ہی نہیں بلکہ غیر معمولی صلاحیتوں کے حامل فنکار بھی دنیا کے سامنے لا رہے ہیں، انہی میں سے ایک نام ساجد امیری کا ہے، جنہوں نے عام طور پر گھروں کی کھڑکیوں میں استعمال ہونے والی وائر میش (جالی) کو اپنے فن کا ذریعہ بنا کر ایک منفرد شناخت قائم کی ہے۔ پاکستان کے واحد وائر میش آرٹسٹ کے طور پر وہ ایک ایسے میڈیم میں شاہکار تخلیق کر رہے ہیں جسے روایتی طور پر کبھی فنِ مصوری یا مجسمہ سازی کا حصہ نہیں سمجھا جاتا تھا۔
