Guest Bio:
Dra. Rocio Flores is an advocate and champion of our local diverse small business communities. She is a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and mother to three beautiful children. Rocio is the Founder of Brillantes Emprendedoras Latinas de Los Angeles, also known as B.E.L.L.A., a community organization whose focus is to elevate and celebrate tLatina entrepreneurial voice. She also currently owns and operates BELLA Entrepreneurs Consulting, supporting companies and nonprofits with program design and development, leadership and workshop facilitation. Rocio also works full time for the USC Credit Union as their Chief Social Impact Officer.
Dra. Flores is passionate about building community together, advocating for equitable access to capital and inclusively collaborating with mission aligned organizations. She believes that every human being has a purpose and seeks to provide a safe space for women to come together to learn, grow, share and celebrate culture and sisterhood.
Rocio received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California Irvine in Psychology and Social Behavior and Criminology Law and Society, her master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach and her doctoral degree from the USC Rossier School of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership. Rocio is committed to uplifting and transformational change, and is actively involved in her local community.
