    San Diego State overpowered Stony Brook in the season opener for both teams as the Aztecs outgained the Seawolves, 453 to 95 in total yardage. Jayden Denegal threw for over 200 yards and a touchdown in his first college start and San Diegan Lucky Sutton picked up his first career 100 yard game. SDSU travels to Washington State next Saturday at 7:15 p.m.
