    2025/12/11

    Send us a text

Noise..So much noise. With the constant of technology and socials and just pressures of the world we are on high alert all the time. It can be so hard not to be overwhelmed by the noise of the world. But the Psalmist reminds us to sing a new song. That new song is one of reflection on what God has done in his faithfulness to us. His love has endured and we can take refuge in him and find the quiet places and reflect on what he has done and sing that new song!

  • Await & Arise: Filling the Void
    2025/12/04

The world cannot fulfill a void that is meant for God. Today we reflect on a mama's desire to try and be everything to her children, the guilt that can come when that idea leads to failure and the realization that the void in your child's life is not for you to fill, but for God to fill.

Listen and be encouraged that you don't have to be everything for everyone that God has purpose in the void so that we will seek Him to fill it.

  • Await & Arise: Reconciled and Restored
    2025/11/29

In light of Thanksgiving this meditation focuses on reconciliation and restoration first and foremost the reconciliation and restored relationship we have with our heavenly father because of what Jesus suffered for us so that we may know God and then the pursuit of restored relationships with those in our lives in this world.

My hope is that you are encouraged to take the broken relationships in your life to God's feet and let Him lead you to forgiveness and even reconciliation. I hope you are refreshed by this message and meditation in the Word.

  • Await and Arise: Gratitude in every day
    2025/11/22

    Send us a text

Walking through the seasons of life we find that some are easier to be grateful in than others. Psalm 118:24 says today is the day the Lord has made. Let us be glad and rejoice in it.

As a member of the wedding industry we see some stressful brides and bride mamas. It can be hard in those moments to find the opportunities to rejoice and show gratitude. But when we show gratitude we are choosing triumph and victory in Jesus instead of defeat and overwhelm by the stress.

Enjoy the episode and the reminder to choose to be grateful and rejoice in each day because it is the day the Lord has made and it is a gift to you.

  • Await & Arise Teaching: Nose in the Word & Feet walking it out...Psalm 119
    2025/11/19

    Send us a text

Psalm 119:1 tells us "blessed are those who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart."
Seeking with a whole heart means we move past just reading the word and we aim to meditate on it. Allowing it to seep into our being. Romans 12:1-2 tells us to not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When we meditate on the word we reflect, we seek God and his will and how he would work the scripture out in our hearts. We seek to know Him and then how He would have us walk out what we read in scripture.
This week we study through Psalm 119 and we hear how the psalmist encourages the reader to be in the word, to study it, to meditate on it and know the one who gave it to us, our good God.

I would encourage you to read the scripture before you jump into listening to the teaching!

Have you ever had a day or maybe even days when you felt like you had a million things to do but you just couldn't focus in on one thing and you just feel like you're spinning your wheels? I have the solution. No, really! Think opposite. Instead of charging forward what if you stopped. What if you sought the Lord. You took a minute to open the Word and be in His presence.

Luke 6:45 says that out of the good treasure of a man's heart comes good. The only way to have good treasure stored up in your heart is to first seek the Lord and His word.

Enjoy the meditation on Psalms 101 and Luke 6. I encourage you to open your Bible and read these chapters first then dive into some scripture soak time with me.

  • Await & Arise Teaching: Only God can save...
    2025/11/05

    Send us a text

    This week we are in Psalm 37, 49, 112, 127-128 & 133.

Sometimes we think the world is divided into two different groups and that may be true...but we tend to fall into the division of good and bad...but neither of those are very definitive. The Bible tells us the meek shall inherit the earth. The evil doers will be castaway. What does that really mean?

This week we explore who are the meek and who are the evil doers. What does it really boil down to?

Are you serving God or are you serving yourself, that's the boiled down question.

Dive into the Psalms with Ang this week and be encouraged to seek God's righteousness and lea a life that chases His will and is obedient to His call.
