Eclipse season is here, & I think using a different metaphor this time. Everyone talks about shedding, but I've been thinking about molting. A crab doesn't molt because something is wrong with its shell. It molts because it's grown beyond what once protected it, and before the new shell hardens, it's at its most vulnerable. August carries that same feeling as we move between a Leo Solar Eclipse and a Pisces Lunar Eclipse, with Chiron stationing retrograde, Mars moving into Cancer, Mercury into Leo, and Jupiter finally finding support through a trine to Saturn at month's end. The Human Design transits trace that journey beautifully, moving from Gate 33's invitation to step back and reflect, through guidance, uncertainty, commitment, intimacy, and finally Gate 40's reminder that rest is part of the process, not a detour from it.
