Some quality fluke reported out of the Shark River Inlet fleet in the past week is evidence enough of an improving bite out along the inshore sticky stuff. We'll run down a few of the latest catches reported back to us here at The Fisherman Magazine for the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region, with fluke, sheepshead, and blowfish, perhaps backed up with a steamer-full of little necks (6:40). Run through the August editorial lineup in the magazine, and our digital weekly (10:12) with an overview of this week's Next Cast and the connection between rays, cobia and bluefin tuna along with the latest offshore intel from Canyon Runner. Our lead image of the week (22:10) puts a husband and wife in the right spot at the time for their wedding anniversary and a blitz of bluefish at Sandy Hook as we look over some of the latest gear for tackle busters, including imitation frogs in freshwater (24:24). Following our report from the Pocono Outdoors Guy, Kalvin from Fishing the Atlantic Checks in from Atlantic City (27:34) for lead-in update in the Dream Boat Fishing Challenge, before we wrap up the week (30:35) with a little housecleaning from the editorial and fisheries management departments.
