In this episode, we unpack the attitudes towards Queer Love (QL) media that we’ve witnessed and experienced ourselves, from both outside and within fan communities. From blatant homophobia to subtle fetishisation, we’re diving into some uncomfortable but necessary conversations.Why was P’Jojo criticised over the supposed “late” release of Girl Rules, and what does that reaction reveal about internalised homophobia within our own community? Why are some fans so obsessed with “positions” in fictional pairings, forcing our beloved switch couple PorTeeteePor to becomeTeeteePor?
