It means so much to me to share my personal journey of growth and the impact of my recent academic writing class at Harvard. You’re going to hear an essay that I’m so proud I wrote, which  explores the crucial topic of censoring sexual terms in the US and the implications it has on communication, consent, and sexual health education.

I delve into the harmful consequences of taboo language censorship, the lack of standardized reproductive anatomy terms, and the importance of early sex education. I’ll tell you about the stark contrast between the US and other countries, highlighting how open discussions about sexual organs from a young age lead to healthier attitudes and outcomes.

This is my plea for more knowledge, understanding, and open dialogue as a wake-up call to challenge societal norms and empower individuals to advocate for comprehensive sex education.
