Andy Bostinto is a 100 year old WWII veteran, Bronze Star recipient, founder of the National Gym Association, 1977's Senior Mr. America and the world’s oldest competitive bodybuilder.
Andy received his Bronze Star 80 years after seeing combat in the European Theater in 1945. One week after becoming the oldest competitive bodybuilder in the world at 100 years old. His unit liberated over 20,000 prisoners in WWII. He served in the US military a total of 29 years.
After WWII, Andy returned to bodybuilding and was trainer of the stars. He trained the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Al Pacino, Patrick Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Regis Philbin and more. He won Senior Mr. America in Madison Square Garden in 1977 and founded the NGA in 1979.
