    2022/05/13

Hey everyone! For anyone that knows us personally, you know that the last few weeks have been interesting to say the least. Exciting things are happening, but the good is not without the bad. Since we have not had time to put a lot of content out lately, we figured we would explain a little about why that is the case. For Aaron, this was missing out on this round of medical school interviews. For Clay, this is admitting to a long battle with Alcohol abuse issues. Life is not without its setbacks, but we are choosing to open up about our struggles and share with you all. We hope this helps someone struggling and we hope you enjoy.

  • Misinformation Monday: Episode 2
    2022/04/18
In this episode, we take our medication, buckle down, and focus on the facts. After searching tons of peer reviewed articles, we bring to you all of the misinformation on COVID-19 that we could fit into a single episode. We found everything from an Israeli study stressing the importance of Vitamin D levels, to the last time that either CNN or FOX news mentioned the efficacy of getting in shape, to combat this respiratory disease. And if you listen to this podcast, you can learn just how many people were killed by respiratory diseases that did not shut down the global economy! As always, Enjoy.

  • Episode 2: The Idiots' Interpretation of the Modern Market

In this episode, we talk about big events happening in our lives. It is not exactly the episode about dogs that our significant others wanted, but we did talk about how owning pets makes the already expensive task of finding a place to live, that much more difficult. Homes are currently selling at record prices and the rent is too damn high.

  • Misinformation Mondays: Episode 1
    2022/04/12
This is our new segment discussing the topic of misinformation and current events that fit the bill. This week we cover the newly confirmed sources of Hunter Biden's laptop, in addition to the many stories that have come out of the Ukraine/ Russia conflict. Among the propaganda fueled topics from Russia and Ukraine, we talk about the Snake Island Rebels and the Ghost of Kyiv. If you are wondering which stories are true and which are not, listen for yourself and find out. There is irony in the fact that the misinformation Monday podcast is being released at 12:30 a.m on a Tuesday, but if one has not gone to bed, is it really the next day? Enjoy everyone.

  • Episode 1: Worth the Weight
    2022/04/07

In this episode, we attempt to to breakdown misconceptions that exist in the fitness industry, in addition to explaining our personal and combined experience of over twenty years of training and educating ourselves in proper workout techniques. As with everything in the fitness industry, information changes and may not apply to one person as much as it does another. What we hope to do with this episode is to give the individual a starting point towards building a better body and this blueprint applies to experienced lifters, as well as brand new gym-goers. For clarity, neither of us hold degrees in in this field, but we actively engage new research and draw a lot of evidence from personal experience, both positive and negative. Additionally, we have found a large portion of information pushed by "experts" or social media to be outdated if not made up altogether. More than all else, we simply want to help give someone the confidence to begin their gym journey, because we believe that is never to late to start and everything we laid out can be used as a guide to navigating what can be an intimidating journey.
