If your desire for philosophy is to be seen, you are in the wrong place. For greater desire leads to greater fears. If you desire less, you will cure all fears. Cease to hope. Cease to Fear. Hope and fear are two sides of the same coin. Fear follows hope.

We see people turning to reading books over glancing at social media posts for entertainment. We see people joining Substack, and writing here. They may not be perfect, but they are here, trying and putting themselves out there. I give them credit. I want them to succeed just as much as I want myself to succeed. It is time for us to become something.

These labors, what do you think they represent? If Seneca speaks of inner improvement, controlling anger, and becoming a better self, it makes sense that the twelve labors are a psychological map.
