Yeshua did not say church. He said Ekklesia.

And Ekklesia is not just an assembly. It is a legislative body. A governing council. When Yeshua declared upon this rock I will build my Ekklesia at Caesarea Philippi, the Greeks and Romans in earshot understood the concept immediately. They had Ekklesias in every community. Yeshua was declaring that His followers would function as a governing body for the Kingdom of Heaven on earth as it is in heaven.

In Part 2 of this teaching, host Rolland Wright picks up from where Part 1 closed and walks the pivot Pentecost launched. The word church, inserted by King James's translators in the 1600s. The moment Rolland met Brian Simmons, lead translator of the Passion Translation, and asked him about Matthew 16:18. The Passion's later rendering of the verse: my legislative assembly.

He walks a new anointing (Acts 1:8), a new commission (Matthew 28:18–20 read starting at verse 18, not 19), a new immersion in the Ruach ha-Kodesh, and closes on Luke 5:36–39 and the new wine. The line most pulpits skip: No one who drinks old wine wants the new, because he says the old is fine.

Rolland says he wants the new wine. He hopes his listeners do too.
