He has enjoyed a number of wildly different careers. After studying art and physics at CSUS he travelled broadly throughout Asia for several years. He then went on to study and work in Holistic health; practiced Oriental medicine, designed growing facilities for food grade algae and designed and manufactured medical equipment. In his mid 30’s Wayne returned to school to study filmmaking at the Columbia School of Cinema. He then went on to write, produce and direct 70mm 3-D films; T.V. graphics for CBS, Fox & HBO; computer animated children’s show & HDTV documentaries. His filmmaking career took a crazy turn when he became a Concept Designer for a World’s Fair which spun into designing Theme Parks, Resort Hotels, Museums & traveling shows in Asia, Europe and the U.S.   When the bottom dropped out in the Asian market in the early 90’s Wayne’s work came to an unceremonious halt. After serious soul-searching he returned to his lifelong passion for health and consciousness. He authored a book on discovering your life’s purpose, The Prodigy Within, consulted corporations and universities on mindfulness and trained hundreds of students and teachers in Yoga and Meditation. He teaches at the USC School of Gerontology; has created a training for high school seniors in Authentic Happiness, a successful workshop in China, The Quickening; and offers a variety of seminars, retreats and talks in Conscious Aging, Enlightened Living, Executive Mindfulness, Fulfilling Your Life’s Purpose, The Prodigy Within & The New Third Act. Wayne is also a gifted artist; painting with light and sculpting in stone and bronze.   Wayne has just completed his second book, Conscious Aging -The New Third Act, that will be out this summer and is at work on the companion book, a daily reader, 365 Days of Conscious Aging – Daily Fortune Cookies for an Inspired Third Act.
