The Aztecs women’s soccer team loses a match against No. 10 Washington, but it wasn’t by much and have a chance to get back in the win column on the Mesa on Sunday, Aug.23.

The Aztecs football squad continues to stack fall camp days…some positions settled, a few others…not so much. Head coach Sean Lewis stops by to weigh in on the squad’s development to this point and we hear again about life in the trenches. Defensive line coach David Lose returns to remind how rough it is there, which Aztecs offensive lineman Joseph Borjon doesn’t deny. New center Isaac Lucas breaks down his spot on the line, receivers Nathan Acevedo and Bert Emanuel Jr., the former QB, talk speed, route running and throwing a block or two. Safeties coach C.J. McGorisk and transfer Isaiah Green discuss the varied roles of the five backs in the 4-2-5 defense. And while the placekicker position on special teams remains an ongoing competition, the punting job is now manned by Tashi Dorjet. Special teams coach Zac Barton fills us in on the key third phase of the game.
