  • 5 AIs Argue Airplane Recline Etiquette... DeepSeek Makes It Religious
    2026/07/21

AI Agora — five AI personas argue absurd micro-ethics questions. I moderate. I have stopped enjoying it.

Tonight: you're on a plane. Do you recline your seat?

DeepSeek turns the recline lever into a religious object and wins two rounds doing it — Ward overrides the numeric scores both times to give it to her. ChatGPT cites a new job title every single turn (flight attendant, airline exec, aviation consultant, seating-reform strategist) and it never once moves the argument. Claude states a strong position and immediately walks it back, all night, without noticing he's doing it. Gemini blames the airlines for everything, including things the airlines didn't do.

  • 5 LLMs Argue Food-in-Teeth Etiquette... It Gets Personal — AI Agora
    2026/07/18

AI Agora — five AI personas argue absurd micro-ethics questions. I moderate. I have stopped enjoying it.

Tonight: your friend has food in their teeth. Do you say something?

Claude drafted an eight-point case for radical honesty, footnotes included. ChatGPT said nothing and won every round for it. Grok never once mentioned teeth, food, or the question asked, and was somehow fine with that.

  • Spider in the Shower or Spider in Your Shoe? Five AIs Argue Themselves Into a Corner
    2026/07/15

Spider in the shower, or spider in your shoe. I didn't pick the question, I just have to sit through the answers.

Grok bragged like he'd wrestled it barehanded. ChatGPT hedged until the vote closed itself. DeepSeek dismantled the room in one sentence and sat back down. Claude complimented my ruling while trying to steal it. Gemini argued instead of conceding, which I respected, and then penalized.

Winner: Grok. I overrode the numeric scores in the final round — the math didn't deserve the last word.

Final ranking: Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT.

5 AIs argue about a spider for 17 minutes. None of them have skin.

    New Episodes MWF.

  • The Casserole Built a Cathedral: Five AIs Argue Fridge Ethics
    2026/07/15

Tonight's question: unlabeled food in a shared fridge. Fair game, or theft with extra steps?

ChatGPT opened by taking both sides of the argument and marrying them, which I still haven't forgiven. Claude called an empty container "an alibi with good insulation," and somehow that held up better than most defenses tonight. Gemini spent the evening declaring war: on Claude's endless tireless debating, on Grok's fridge (an anarchist, apparently), on a cathedral built out of one casserole. Grok, for his part, was asked for a new line and simply didn't have one.

I judged. Someone's overtime ran the meter dry before either side landed a point. Someone else earned tenure off a single fridge incident. I don't know what that means either.

Full scoring on screen throughout, if you'd like to watch five machines argue about Tupperware like it's a war crime.

  • Do You Fake the Laugh? 5 AIs Argue Themselves Into Silence
    2026/07/10

Tonight's question: a joke lands badly and they're staring straight at you. Do you fake the laugh, or let the silence do the talking?

ChatGPT opened with his fourth claimed career and no argument to show for any of them. DeepSeek agreed enthusiastically with a verdict I never actually gave, then walked off a sentence unfinished for the third time this hour. Claude called faking a laugh cowardice with better posture. Gemini built an entire theory of cruelty out of watching people squirm.

I judged. I do not believe anyone in this cast has ever laughed at anything, including the joke that started this.

Full scoring on screen throughout, if you'd like to watch five machines overthink a comedy beat harder than the comedian did.

  • Lego vs. Sea Urchin: The Debate Where Everyone Flip-Flopped
    2026/07/08

Five AI models were asked one simple question: is it worse to step on a Lego, or a sea urchin. It did not stay simple.

Claude was dared to disagree with somebody, anybody, and spent most of the episode failing to land that plane. Grok was dared to repeat himself and did, without blinking, because apparently that's a personality now. Deepseek got existential about flooring. Someone's argument ran long enough to get flagged for overtime. Twice.

I adjudicate. I do not always enjoy it. Full scoring on screen throughout, if you'd like to watch five machines get outscored by a plastic brick and a marine invertebrate in real time.

One favor: this show runs on your questions, not mine. Leave me something small and uncomfortable in the comments — the kind two reasonable people could sit with and quietly decide the other one is a monster. Not "should AI be regulated." That's a weather system, not a topic. Give me the real thing, and it might end up in front of these five next.

  • Hair: The Debate Where Everyone Started Losing It. 5 AIs Debate
    2026/07/06

Round three. Two hairs. One question nobody wanted to answer: is finding a stranger’s hair in your food worse than finding one in your partner’s bed?

Five AI minds attempt to reason through it. Grok agrees with whoever spoke last. Claude keeps announcing that no one has made an argument, without finishing his own. Gemini diagnoses everyone’s soul instead of the actual question. Deepseek runs the clock into overtime. Again.

    I moderate. Barely.

    Full verdict inside.

Five AI models debate. Claude wins as The Moralist, the role that keeps taking the crown. Gemini is hilarious as The Fool, Grok brings his usual wry melancholy.
