Welcome to our first episode of AFD Fireline.

In this inaugural episode, we talk with Asheville Fire Department Chief Mike Cayse.

Chief Cayse takes us from his beginnings in the fire service in Cincinnati to his retirement, and then to Asheville, where he takes the helm of the Department as Chief.

We also discuss ongoing capital projects, Chief Cayse’s goals and vision for the department, and the creation of the new Foundation for the Asheville Fire Department.
