概要
In this episode, we welcome Dr. Gretchen Hunter, a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist with more than 15 years of experience supporting children with developmental, neurological, and learning differences.
In Part 1 of our conversation with Dr. Hunter, we explore ADHD and how behavioral therapy and parent coaching really work. Dr. Hunter shares how parent training helps children build confidence, manage emotions, and develop the skills they need to thrive at home and in school.
We also discuss what behavioral therapy looks like in practice, what families can expect during the process, and why these evidence-based approaches are so effective for children with ADHD.
This conversation takes place during Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a time dedicated to increasing awareness, understanding, and acceptance of neurological differences including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.
