Episode 1: From Snow Delays to Yokohama Discoveries.

Our long-awaited journey to Japan didn't exactly get off to a smooth start. What should have been a straightforward flight from Cyprus turned into an unexpected adventure when heavy snowfall in Frankfurt caused delays, resulting in a missed connection and an overnight stay in Germany.

In this first episode, we share the highs and lows of the journey, including a memorable birthday celebration courtesy of the Lufthansa cabin crew, waking up to a snow-covered Frankfurt, and finally boarding a Boeing 747 bound for Tokyo.

After arriving in Japan, we travel to Yokohama and settle into our waterfront hotel before spending our first two days exploring this fascinating city.

Along the way, we experience our first ride on the Japanese Metro, receive unexpected help from a friendly local, discover the historic Nippon Maru sailing ship, visit the surprisingly entertaining Cup Noodles Museum, admire the giant Cosmo Clock Ferris wheel, and soak up the atmosphere of the vibrant Chinatown district.
