  • 6.2 - An Albertan History of Shitty Justice
    2023/04/21
In the season finale of A Whole Life Later, Kylie tells you about the other stories she came across while researching Connie Oakes' story. Alberta has a scary history of greatly mitreating indigneous peoples within the justice system. These two stories are just drops in the barrel. Alberta needs to do better.

Kylie and Rory are back to present the final story of the season to you! Come along to Medicine Alberta, as we take a look at the failures of their police service to properly investigate a murder. Connie Oakes had an alibi but somehow ended up the main suspect when implicated by the worst witness ever(!).
