概要
Closing the Snake. Activating the Fire Horse. Building 2026 on purpose.
This podcast is for the real estate agents building their dream life and business on their terms, especially if you’re working another job, raising a family, or carrying a lot at once.
In this episode, Carla uses the Lunar New Year as a coaching tool to help you release what is draining your energy, strengthen your foundations, and build a rhythm that supports your 2026 goals without burnout.
You’ll walk away with clear exercises you can do in short blocks of time, plus a simple framework to move from Goal Setter clarity into Goal Getter execution.
You’ll learn:
- How Lunar cycles create rhythm, and rhythm creates sustainability
- How to close out Snake energy with strategic evaluation and pruning
- How to set 2026 goals in a way your Goal Getter can actually execute
- What to watch for in the Fire Horse year so you stay aligned and consistent
This isn’t just content. This is coaching. Let’s go.
The Exercises Included in this Episode: You can pause the episode and complete these in real time, or schedule them across the two week runway (February 3 to February 16).
Exercise 1: Keep, Cut, Change (15 minutes)
Grab a notebook or open a note on your phone (not while driving).
Write three headings:
- KEEP
- CUT
- CHANGE
Now answer these prompts:
- KEEP: What did I do in 2025 that actually created results (closings, appointments, conversations, referrals)?
- CUT: What drained time and energy with little return?
- CHANGE: What has potential but needs adjusting to be sustainable as a Double Duty agent?
Coaching reminder: This is not about shame. This is about clarity, and clarity is kindness to your future self.
Exercise 2: The Foundation Audit (20 minutes)
Pick one audit per day, or do all four in one sitting.
Audit 1: Database
- Do I have correct phone numbers, emails, and addresses?
- Do I know who owns, who rents, and who is likely to move?
- Do I have tags for past clients, potential sellers, investors, and first time buyers?
Audit 2: Pipeline
- Who is sitting in “maybe” that needs a follow up?
- Who said yes and I did not circle back?
- Do I have a weekly pipeline touch system?
Audit 3: Schedule
- Can I clearly answer: What are my real estate work hours?
- Do I have a calendar block for conversations (not “when I have time”)?
- Do I have a weekly planning block?
Audit 4: Conversations and templates
- Do I have saved scripts and follow up messages?
- Am I practicing conversations 5 to 10 minutes a day?
Exercise 3: Belief Release Prompt (10 minutes)
Write these two lines and finish them:
- The story I am ready to release is…
- The truth I am choosing instead is…
Example:
The story I am ready to release is, “I don’t have time to build this business.”
The truth I am choosing instead is, “I can build this business in focused blocks when I protect my schedule.”
Exercise 4: Five Wins Integration (5 minutes)
List five wins from 2025, even if they feel small.
Then take a moment to acknowledge them. You are building proof. You are building confidence.
Exercise 5: Boundary for 2026 (5 minutes)
Answer this question:
What boundary do I need to set so I don’t burn out in 202
