  • Episode 5: Part 2 - Jesus Is Still in the Boat, Lean Into God When It Hurts
    2025/12/07

In Part 2 of “Jesus Is Still in the Boat,” I continue sharing from a very personal place, about parenting storms, emotional battles, and the moments when the people we love are hurting in ways we can’t fix. I talk about what it feels like to walk into a school with tears in your eyes, to sit in the dark when your own heart is heavy, and to stand beside someone you care about when they are struggling.

In this episode, we look at the story where Jesus stood up in the storm and spoke the words, “Peace, be still.” I share how that truth meets us today, how God is close to the brokenhearted, and how we can love others without losing our peace.

There are reflection questions at the end, and a prayer for anyone who has been carrying more than they know how to carry. If your heart has been heavy, or you’ve been watching someone you love suffer, take a breath. Jesus is still in the boat.
