A.L. Richards is a witchy fantasy author and eternal night owl based in Virginia. Her books blend dark fantasy, magic, and romance with found family, morally complicated choices, and women who choose their own names. She lives with her husband, two dogs — including an Australian Shepherd who thinks he's her familiar — and two cats, one of whom is wanted in 43 states for unspecified crimes.
Noctis Rising is the first book in her Blood & Magic series. Her upcoming works include Blocked & Bewitched, a paranormal hockey romance, and Blood & Brine, a historical fiction standalone set in the 18th century Caribbean.
