このコンテンツについて
On this episode, I’m joined by Ryan Forsyth an award-winning mental health speaker and advocate, and the host of Life in Red Podcast. We begin by getting some insight into Ryan’s life, and what led him to become an advocate in the first place, then we talk about the importance of reaching out to someone when you’re carrying a weight by yourself, before discussing how to balance the pressure of sharing with healthy boundaries. Next, we talk about the desire to belong, and the ‘why’ behind what we do. We then discuss niches and authenticity, and then move on to toxic masculinity and what makes it ‘toxic.’ Then we talk about activism and intergenerational trauma, and how trauma itself is not a competition. Finally, I ask Ryan about his experience discussing polarizing topics.
