概要

Stacey Case has lived a productive life in Canadian pop culture, always nurturing it from the sidelines, and outright creating it himself if need be. A writer, filmmaker, screenprinter, musician and promoter, he is recently sober. A Case History finds him reviving his 90's punk rock radio show About Town as a podcast, interviewing all of the cool people that he has met throughout his life. His interview list numbers in the hundreds, with a new guest appearing every week! Joining him on air is his sober-ish friend of 35 years, Mark Gee, to help keep the peace.Stacey Case 社会科学

  • A Case History #5 - Scott Morin
    2026/04/20

It's an embarrassment of riches on this episode of A Case History. Stacey Case interviews his old upstairs neighbour from the Coffin Factory – Scott Morin! When Stacey knew him 15 years ago, Scott was (and still is) a respected jazz musician and saxophonist. They knew each other, hung, out, partied together, however, they never really 'knew' each other – until this episode. Scott's been around the block as a musician. Sax player in Paul Shaffer's band on Letterman. He's partied with Trump – wait'll you hear the story. Find out what Prince told him when Scott swore in his house. And Stacey's favorite line this episode – when Stacey brings up how they both lived in an old coffin factory, Scott reminded him that after coffins, it became a piano factory: “There's not much difference between pianos and\ coffins – they both have souls in them.” Whoa. PLUS – an update on beloved female fronted mischief makers Stink Mitt! And Stacey talks about the night the cops came to take him away from his studio while suffering a breakdown...with Scott and show sidekick Mark both there that night. A very interesting show today! Tell a friend, andgive us a follow, won't you?
