THE 60-SECOND AT-HOME STOMACH ACID TEST

Step 1: First thing in the morning, before eating or drinking anything, mix ¼ teaspoon of baking soda into 4-6 ounces of cold water.

Step 2: Drink the mixture slowing (don't gulp) on an empty stomach.

Step 3: Start a 3-minute timer immediately.

Step 4: Note when (or if) you burp.

WHAT YOUR RESULTS MEAN

→ Burped within 2-3 minutes = stomach acid is likely adequate

→ Burped after 3 minutes (or didn't burp at all) = likely low stomach acid
