    2025/10/10
On today's edition of 7th Corner, we recap last week's home opener win for the Huskies as they beat Holy Cross 6-4. We recap all the key moments from the game, including how the team bounced back from letting up an early goal to dominating the entire game and using the strength of their newcomers including Giacomo Martino to seal the game for good and put it out of reach. We talk about the emergence of Joe Connor as a diamond in the rough and perennial threat on the ice when it comes to that scrappy, underdog mentality that he exudes constantly on the ice and how he can be a valuable commodity moving forward. We also take a look at tonight's game against Army West Point for their first game against the Black Knights since 1998, and give you 3 key things to know for tonight's game and how the Huskies can use their youth, speed, skill, and strength to their advantage to give the Huskies a fighting chance.

On today's summer edition of 7th Corner, we go over the list of players that Northeastern recruited over the summer that includes nine freshman, four transfers, eight forwards, four defensemen, and two goaltenders. We go over every single player in great detail, where they played, where they're from, their skill set, player stats, and what they bring to the table and how they fit into Keefe's system to get indoctrinated into the Husky way. I also give you my thoughts on how the team has improved over last year, and how they've addressed some personnel issues and gaps in certain areas, most notably goaltender after the departure of Cameron Whitehead to the Vegas Golden Knights and also have the players learn from the upperclassmen to get a better understanding and confidence as they look to potentially contribute in any way they can on the ice.
