Have you ever gone through something so hard you found yourself asking, "God, really? How could a good God let this happen to me?"
Was your faith built on love or on fear of punishment, so the moment life fell apart, your trust in God started to vanish and unbelief crept in?
Have you ever been called foolish, or "not faithful enough," for questioning if God is good after a loss?
In this episode, I'm reopening the story of a woman Scripture has been used to villainize — Job's wife — and asking whether she was really foolish to blame God and question if He is good after watching all ten of her children die. If your faith was built on fear of punishment instead of love, hard times don't just test your faith, they can shatter your trust in God until belief isn't far behind. I'm sharing my own three years of walking away after my son wasn't healed, why I turned away angry every time someone mentioned God, and what finally brought me back: realizing I never stopped believing in the true God — only the God I was terrified of. We'll talk about the two things real faith actually needs (belief AND trust in God), why grief, lament, and honesty are not sins, and the first steps toward healing when your faith feels fragile. This one is for the mom who's been blamed for "not believing enough" and needs to know God is for her, not against her — so she can face what broke her faith and start healing with God instead of running from Him.
