El cojo le dijo al ciego que él no podría llegar a la otra orilla, a lo que el ciego respondió que él sí podría pasar pero ante su falta de visión podría resbalar.Ante ello, se les ocurrió una gran idea: el hombre ciego sería quien llevaría la marcha y sostendría a ambos con sus piernas, mientras que el hombre cojo sería los ojos de ambos y podría guiar a ambos durante el cruce.
