Julian is a sports journalist, writing about the NHL for the Athletic, co-hosting the Chris Johnston show, and recently wrote the book Black Aces: Essential Stories from Hockey's Black Trailblazers. We discuss the book, and the writing process, but since we are a football podcast, I try to get Julian to convince me to like the Montreal Alouettes. Does he succeed? Do I make any sense?
