Romans 3:10
as it is written:
“None is righteous, no, not one;
Paul delivers this message about everyone sinning because he is speaking to the Romans about the gospel. Paul gets this message from the Old Testament, God’s word. Paul thinks this way. Paul studied. Paul heard from God. Paul’s thinking was influenced by the Scriptures. Paul studied and heard God from these Scriptures. God expects us to hear God in the same way, develop our thinking the same way, from God’s word and listening to God in His word.
And what Paul knows, and we should know, is that there is none righteous. This knowledge will drive us to Jesus. Admit your sin and say, “Jesus, save me!”
