Have you ever thought, “I know what the Bible says, so why am I still struggling?”
You may know that God provides, but still feel anxious about money. You may know that you are loved, but still feel rejected. You may know that God has a purpose for you, but still feel unqualified.
In this episode, Josh and Corina talk about the difference between knowing truth intellectually and believing it deeply enough that it transforms the way you live.
Josh shares how he grew up knowing that God loved him, but it was not until he actually encountered the Father’s love that it began to change his relationship with God. He moved from trying to earn God’s love through performance to experiencing the joy and freedom of knowing he was already loved as a son.
Josh and Corina explain that your emotions, reactions, and words can reveal what you truly believe beneath the surface. Anxiety, anger, fear, defensiveness, hopelessness, or the need to control can all be clues that there is a belief underneath that does not fully line up with God’s truth.
They also unpack John 8:31–32 and explain that truth is meant to be experienced, not just memorized. Real transformation happens when we abide in God’s truth, encounter Jesus personally, and intentionally renew our minds until His truth becomes our new way of thinking.
