Fall has a way of making us want a fresh start. The slower pace of summer gives way to new schedules, new routines, and a chance to get life back into a rhythm.

But while we’re getting everyone else ready for the season ahead, what about us?

As our sons get older and become more independent, the routines we've built around caring for them begin to change. Sometimes that means little pockets of time start opening up—and we get to decide what to do with them.
