Have you ever wondered if God sees your waiting… your hurting… or the things you carry quietly?
In this deeply personal episode of Rooted + Rested, I’m sharing about a hard spring filled with loss in the lavender field, injury, uncertainty, and honest questions before God. What began as a season of pruning unexpectedly became a lesson about being remembered—not forgotten—by God.
After removing around 75 lavender plants, facing difficult decisions, and questioning who God has called me to serve, Isaiah 49:14–16 came to mind:
“I will not forget you… I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands.”
Those verses touched me differently this time.
And what I’m realizing is this:
Recognizing that I am remembered by God has given me the possibility of rest—something I hadn’t been feeling was possible.
In this episode we talk about:
💜 Hard seasons, pruning, and unexpected loss 💜 What lavender fields are teaching me about faith and renewal 💜 Isaiah 49:14–16 and the reminder that God does not forget His people 💜 Why rest may begin with knowing we are remembered by God 💜 Honest reflections for weary Christian women carrying a lot 💜 The question I kept asking all winter: What will my lesson in the lavender be this year?
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, unseen, or exhausted… I hope this episode reminds you:
You are remembered.
