このコンテンツについて
For this episode of the podcast, I spoke to UK based street photographer and filmmaker Michael Gilroy.
During the episode we talk about Michael's start in street photography in 2020 as a mental and physical release from the pandemic. He explains his reason's for only shooting black and white and where he draws his inspiration for monochromatic photography. We also explore his use of different perspectives and angles when making street pictures and how he portrays different emotions from his subjects.
Michael also has experience of filmmaking having made two award winning short films and we delve into the process of making a film from concept to completion. We also discuss his photographic heroes and inspirations, different approaches to making images on the street, his future ambitions as a photographer and much more.
Thank you for listening.
