このコンテンツについて
If the ladder is not leaning against the right wall, every step we take just gets us to the wrong place faster. - Stephen Covey
In this episode we deep dive Habits 2 & 3 of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
HABIT 2: Begin with the End in Mind- Have a clear understanding of your destination so you can begin to take steps in the right direction.
- Understand that all things are created twice; first the blueprint and then the product.
- Lacking self awareness empowers others & life circumstances outside our Circle of Influence to shape our lives by default.
- Become a principle-centered person; principles don’t react to anything or depend on the behaviors of others.
HABIT 3: Put First Things First
- Focus on activities that align with our values and goals, rather than getting caught up in the busyness of daily life.
- Utilize the "Time Management Matrix” to effectively put first things first.
- To be a highly effective individual, spend most of your time in Quadrant II.
- An effective Quadrant II Self Manager does so by identifying key roles, setting goals and scheduling.
