La caída de Tenochtitlán ocurrió el 13 de agosto de 1521. No fue solo una pelea de "españoles contra indígenas"; en realidad, Hernán Cortés se unió a miles de otros pueblos indígenas (como los tlaxcaltecas) que estaban cansados de pagarle tributos a los mexicas. Juntos, rodearon la ciudad por casi tres meses, cortando el agua y la comida que llegaba por tierra.The city of Tenochtitlan fell on August 13, 1521. It wasn't just a fight between "Spaniards and Indigenous people"; in reality, Hernán Cortés teamed up with thousands of other Indigenous groups (like the Tlaxcalans) who were tired of paying taxes and being controlled by the Aztecs. Together, they surrounded the city for nearly three months, cutting off all the food and water coming in from the mainland.
