このコンテンツについて
This week Reebs heads back to the big seat in the dugout with head coach Jake Boss Jr., who is currently in 16th season as the head baseball coach at Michigan State University. Boss has accumulated over 400 wins (441-388) in his head coaching career, and has been a part of and led numerous championship caliber teams. Not only have his teams had success on the field, but he has helped develop players individually which is proven by 45 MLB Draft selections during his tenure at MSU along with 206 Academic Big Ten honors.
Boss gives really good insight and wisdom into topics that include building community and an environment that people take pride in--even in such a big environment, such as a state school with thousands of undergrad students; going from a D3 college player to a D1 head baseball coach; how Jake wants his team to be represented when people watch them play; the coaching community as a whole as Michigan State; how his faith in Christ affects the way he coaches and goes about his daily life; and many other topics.
