It's not a coincidence that Jesus calls himself "the light of the world" (John 8:12) and we celebrate his birth by decorating with beautiful, twinkling lights! Luke 2:13-14 says, "Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.'" The Greek word in the Bible for "Glory" implies a glorious light.
Now, that glorious light dwells inside of us for us to share with the world.
