Milan Harris is a writer, educator, and creative from Baltimore, Maryland. She studied psychology at Howard University, also working as a freelance writer. In 2022, Milan graduated with her master's in Social Justice and Human Rights with a particular focus on the Americas, the Black Radical Tradition, Marxism, and agriculture. She is an organizer in the Black Alliance for Peace, an anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, and anti-patriarchal organization rooted in the Black Radical Peace tradition, where she is also on the Haiti/Americas team. Currently, she is the co-founder and co-editor of Amani Sol Magazine, an online creative arts magazine elevating marginalized and oppressed artists, as well as the director of an afterschool program in Baltimore. She's worked in this role for almost 6 years, serving 4th-8th grade students and continuing to support them even after they graduate from the program.
