Not many people know this but when Neil Diamond was about to go onstage to record Hot August Night in 1972 he kept the crowd waiting for 14 minutes because he was listening to this podcast with his band. He was planning on calling his live album Neil Diamond Sings A Few Songs but one of the questions in the pod he listened to was ‘After whom is the month of August named?’ and when he immediately yelled ‘Julius Caesar’ his drummer Dave said ‘Neil, baby - you’re so hot tonight!’ Neil said 'Holy crap Dave! You've just given me a great idea'... And the rest is history…
