This week BD is joined by the one and only Maurice Valentino.

Michaelangelo Maurice “Valentino” Hayes, creatively known as Maurice Valentino, is a Baltimore native poised and motivated to change the world through entrepreneurship, community programming, anime, Hip Hop and gaming. Graduating salutatorian of his class in 2012 after facing multiple obstacles, Michaelangelo attended and graduated from the historic 150th class
of Morehouse College in 2017. After achieving a plethora of lifetime accomplishments at Morehouse, Michaelangelo would go on to attend Bowie State University, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard University for post-graduate schooling. His domestic abuse he incurred in his home life post-graduation of Morehouse spurred him to create global impact with his
platform and initiatives, and he has spent the last 8 years doing so with his businesses, non-profit programs, and versatile skillset.

In addition to conducting lectures and seminars at various conventions and institutions like Harvard, Princeton and Dreamcon, he spends his time running 3 organizations nationally:

• Valentino's Workshop LLC: A company specializing in high grade tutoring for Black, Brown, disabled and disadvantaged students worldwide, as well as Esports tournaments and workshops for various contractors.
• Valentino's Requiem Inc: A non-profit bridging equity in esports across the nation.
• The Tajiri Region: A subsidiary under Valentino's Requiem, this is the largest, most active Pokémon League in the world exclusively for those in the Black Diaspora complete with competitive training seminars, financial opportunities, job training and high octane competitive Pokémon battling.

Valentino’s Workshop, Valentino’s Requiem, The Tajiri Region and all of Michaelangelo’s assets have brought in over $400,000 in profit and have fundraised scholarships and business funding of over $4 million for all businesses, individuals and other entities as their clientele since their inception. He hopes to continue to change the world.
